| About Stephen Johnson Photography |
I have been interested in photography since I was a kid growing up in Denver, Colorado. My first camera was Kodak Brownie. In the mid 70's I got my first 35mm SLR Olympus OM-1 Camera. In about 2000, I got a call from Kodak wanting to know if I would be interested in being part of a focus group about new digital cameras. This was my first experience with digital photography and I have been hooked ever since.
Today I shoot with a Nikon D700 and Nikon D80. My photos are finished off with a variety of editing software. My favorites are Apple Aperture, Adobe Photoshop CS4 and Corel Paint Shop Pro. I also enjoy using Topaz Plug-ins. I belong to a couple of camera clubs in the Denver area. I also participate in a number of Juried Shows, Art Galleries and Art Festivals throughout the year. Click my Blog link to keep up with my latest photos, shows and exhibits. The blog link goes direct to Stephen Johnson Photography Facebook page. I have published my first eBook, I In Florida - Landscape Photography Inspired by the Florida Highwaymen. It is can be found at: http://www.lulu.com/spotlight/Stevej46 It is available through iTunes and Barnes and Noble. My next book project is about Riverside Cemetery, Denver's Pioneer Cemetery. I hope to have it available for sale mid Fall 2011. |
